Magnezit Group has adopted its Code of Ethics. Mr. Sergey Korostelev, President of the Magnezit Group, addressed the employees of the Group.
President of Magnezit Group Sergei KorostelevOur life is a non-stop flow of events, but there are certain generally recognized and eternal values, such as the morality, decency, spirituality, honesty, beauty. Culture of interrelations within any society bases on the ability and willingness of its members to follow and observe the fundamental principles of morality.
Within more than a century of its history our company walked a long and significant way. Nowadays Magnezit Group is one of the world leading manufacturers of refractory materials, consisting of 15 production sites in Russia, China, Slovakia and Germany.
Our reputation as a leader bases on our relations with our customers as with the partners, on the mutual understanding available within our staff as a in single team, as well as on the culture of production, ability to understand the needs and demands of our customers and to meet their expectations. Any employee of the Magnezit Group, regardless of the position occupied, actually performs as a representative of the company, and therefore significant responsibility falls on each of us.
All matters and aspects integrating us, as well as the best patterns of the world practice, were consolidated in our Code of Ethics. This should be the first step towards an absolutely new level of development of corporate relations up to the highest international standards.
We are the members of Magnezit Group and because of such high status we assume an obligation to observe strictly all and any provisions of the Code and follow the standards fixed therein in our everyday life.
I have made a through study of this document and expect you all do the same.
The Code should be implemented and put into practice by each company of the Group.
